Bondi offers an unusual combination of laid back coastal lifestyle and cosmopolitan buzz - once a working class suburb, these days it's more glamorous and upscale, revealing a fascinating cross-section of humanity: botox and thongs, prams and surfboards, billionaires and backpackers. When your beach suburb has more Botox than a Beverly Hills clinic, maybe it's time to admit the stereotype fits.
