Hamilton, Scotland

Two of these are true. One we made up. Tap the lie.

1. 1

Hamilton Mausoleum was built for the 10th Duke and finished in 1858, but its famous echo only lasts 4 seconds.

2. 2

Hamilton was called Cadzow, pronounced "Cadyou", until it was renamed Hamilton in 1455.

3. 3

Hamilton Mausoleum's stone vault once held the record for the longest echo in a man-made structure: 15 seconds.
